Dosing and Administration Instructions
FOR ORAL USE ONLY. This product must be used with a compatible Safe-Guard® or Panacur® paste gun.
- Dosing Rate: Administer 2.3 mg of fenbendazole per 100 lbs of body weight.
- Gun Setting: Set the dosing ring on the gun to the appropriate weight setting. Each click of the trigger dispenses enough paste to treat 500 lbs.
- Application: Insert the nozzle into the side of the animal’s mouth and deposit the paste over the back of the tongue.
Example Dose for a 500-lb Calf:
Set the dosing ring on the gun. One depression of the trigger will deliver the correct dose.
Example Dose for an 1,100-lb Cow:
Two depressions of the trigger will deliver a dose for 1,000 lbs. A third partial depression may be required to reach the full 1,100 lb mark, depending on the gun’s calibration.
