Dosing and Administration Instructions

- Feeding Rate: The standard feeding rate is 1 pound of Safe-Guard® 0.5% Pellets for each 1,000 lbs of total animal body weight to be treated.

- Application (Horses): For a standard deworming, feed the appropriate amount for one day. A 1,000 lb horse would require 1 lb of pellets.
- Application (Goats/Swine): The total dose should be spread over 3 consecutive days of feeding.
Example Dose for a Picky 1,000-lb Horse:
Feed 1 lb of the alfalfa-based pellets mixed into their grain for one day.
Example Dose for a Herd of 5 Goats (avg. 100 lbs each):
- Total weight = 5 goats x 100 lbs = 500 lbs.
- Total dose needed = 0.5 lbs of pellets (or 8 oz).
