Dosing and Administration Instructions

This product is designed to be top-dressed or mixed with a portion of the normal daily grain ration to ensure consumption.

• Standard Dosing Rate: The dose for most species is 2.27 mg of fenbendazole per pound of body weight.
• Feeding Rate: The standard feeding rate is 1 pound of Safe-Guard® 0.5% Pellets for each 1,000 lbs of total animal body weight to be treated.
• Application (Cattle): The dose can be fed in a single day.
• Application (Horses): For a standard deworming, feed the appropriate amount for one day. A 1,250 lb horse would require 1.25 lbs of pellets.
• Application (Goats/Swine): The total dose should be spread over 3 consecutive days of feeding.

Example Dose for a Herd of 5 Goats (avg. 50 lbs each):

1. Total weight = 5 goats x 50 lbs = 250 lbs.
2. Total dose needed = 0.25 lbs of pellets (or 4 oz).
3. Feed approximately 1.33 oz of pellets mixed into their grain each day for 3 consecutive days.
